    Shimera Mosaic Studio

     

    Learn cutting techniques and work on a project of your choice. Personalize your mosaic by modelling or enamelling certain pieces. The materials used are ceramic tiles and transparent glass paste. For beginners or experienced participants of all ages.

    Learn the basics or perfect this very accessible porcelain technique. For artists and the curious alike. Maximum 5 participants. Materials are loaned for the first class then all participants must bring their own equipment and porcelain. Decorated pieces are fired carefully. Large selection of boards and patterns available.

    Go on a playful adventure and explore exhibitions during workshop-visits headed by a specialist guide. After a 30 minute interactive exhibition visit, the children create something related to the exhibition they have just visited in the workshop.     Association CHAP - Atelier Saint Fargeau

     

    Sketches and charcoal drawings are the dominant media of these life drawing workshops, alternating between short and long poses. Explore different techniques - wash, colour inks, Indian ink, pastels and paints. Drawing, painting and modelling workshops for children. Individual classes or full days. Beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, all ages welcome. Materials to bring with you: paper, charcoal or pencils (minimum 3b). Modelling clay is provided by the workshop.

    Learn to draw by studying works of art, understand the contours and volume of shapes, the play of light, value placement and the feeling of space (near and far). Painting, colour, watercolour and oil painting classes, etc. Some materials supplied by the Workshop, participants should bring their own supplies as necessary.
